The commissioning of the Acute Services Unit has brought under one roof, the acute and critical care services.Casualty, ICU, Hemo Dialysis Unit, Operation Theater, Post – Operative Ward and Endoscopy Unit are situated in this block.
Medical ICU bed is provided with cardiac monitors, Pulse oximeters and Central Oxygen supply.Four ventilators, one portable ventilator, cardiac pace maker, Defibrillators, ECG machines, Glucometers and Blood gas analyzer are provided on site. The ICU has one to one nursing care and headed by Intensivists and anesthetists. The Medical staffs are skilled in intubation and Central Venous access and other emergency resuscitatory measures.
The Post – Operative ward has 12 beds and each has cardiac monitors and pulse oximeters, oxygen supply and suction machines. Trained nurses provided one to one nursing. Defibrillators and glucometers are available and facility for all emergency care is provided.
The dialysis unit has 17 dialysis machines and provides Bicarbonate Dialysis, this is backed up by two RO plant. The dialysis unit works 3 regular shifts and emergency shifts.
For sonology service we are equipped with GE LOGIQP9 for routine scan, echo cardiography and antenatal scans are performed.In addition we have two mobile ultra sounds scan units which are GE LOGIQE and GE LOGIQ 100 CL used for bedside assessment of patients at critical care areas.
Our CSSD has been expanded and remodelled with areas for segregation of instruments and an addition of double door steam sterilizer, in addition we have ultrasonic cleaner. The sterilization procedures are followed as per the international standards with the four indicators - Biologicial indicator, Thermal indicator, Signolog, Bowiedick
Operation theaters are equipped with Multipara monitors with ETCo2, anesthetic ventilators and the latest Boyles apparatus.In addition to all the regular instruments, We have full Laparoscopic equipment and instruments, 2 laparoscopy cameras, 2 insufflators and monitors.Urology equipments including Nephroscope, Cystoscorpe and Urethroscope are available.Vessel sealing device is available.All necessary emergency drugs are stocked and staffs are fully trained to assist in all major surgeries, Which include Pediatric surgery, Neuro surgery, Orthopedic surgery, Urology surgery in addition to regular general Laparoscopic, Endoscopy and Gynecology surgery.The specaility theater is equipped with laminar air flow and Hepafilters.
Our endoscopy unit is equipped with latest HD 170 & 150 Olympus endoscopes. We have 2 upper GI endoscope and lower GI endoscope, In addition we have side viewing ecdoscope for ERCP, we are able to undertake theraputic procedures like polypectomy foreign body removal,stent placement, etc. An emergency endoscopy service is also provided.

We have baby warmers and phototherapy facilities for care of new born babies.
